Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your purchase from Blue Board Theory at blueboardtheory.com, operated by Mouiz Kisma (Empresário em nome individual), NIF 316657115, Rua Nau Vitória 985, andar 1, Porto, Portugal. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. The product

The Blue Board is a 50 × 50 cm cobalt acrylic writing board, supplied with a white chalk marker and wall-mount tape. Photos are illustrative; small variations in finish are normal for a hand-finished product.

2. Prices and VAT

Prices are shown in euros (€). [If you trade under the Article 53.º exemption, state: “Sales are exempt from VAT under Article 53.º of the CIVA (IVA isento, Art.º 53.º do CIVA); no VAT is charged.” Update this once your tax status is confirmed.] We may change prices at any time, but the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

3. Orders and payment

Payment is processed securely by Stripe and supports cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, MB WAY and Multibanco. Your order is confirmed once payment is approved and we send a confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order (for example if an item is out of stock or a pricing error occurs) and will refund you in full.

4. Shipping and delivery

We ship within Portugal and across the EU. Delivery options and any shipping costs are shown at checkout. Estimated delivery within Portugal is 2 to 4 working days; EU delivery times vary by destination. Risk passes to you on delivery.

5. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

As a consumer in the EU you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, under Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014. To do so, tell us at hello@blueboardtheory.com and return the board in resaleable condition. We refund the price (and standard outbound shipping) within 14 days of receiving the return or proof of return.

6. Our 30-night trial

On top of your legal rights, we offer a 30-night trial. If the board doesn't earn its place on your wall, contact us within 30 days for a full refund of the board. Keep the marker. Return shipping within Portugal is on us.

7. Legal guarantee of conformity

Your purchase is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for consumer goods, currently 3 years under Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021. If the board is defective or not as described, contact us for a repair, replacement or refund.

8. Liability

We're responsible for providing the product as described and for our legal obligations to you as a consumer. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Portuguese or EU consumer law.

9. Consumer disputes

We hope to resolve any issue directly. Just email hello@blueboardtheory.com. If we can't, you may use:

• the mandatory Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico (electronic complaints book);
• the regional consumer arbitration centre for Porto, CICAP, Centro de Informação de Consumo e Arbitragem do Porto;
• the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence in the EU.
